Personal History (from Hogwarts Graduation to Current): When the war began, Marcus felt totally pathetic for the fact he never chose sides, that he never took a stand. He decided to leave Hogwarts, partly for his own safety and partly out of shame.

For about 6-8 months, he lived around muggle London, working crappy jobs just to cover his rent. All this time, he was slipping into depression over the war in his world and decided it was time to take a stand. On the streets of London, he would see happy families every day and eventually, against his better judgement, decided to try going back home.

When he arrived there, his dad offered him an ultimatum- Join up with the DEs like the rest of his family or disappear once again. At this point, the DEs looked like the winning side and, pathetically, Marcus gave in. He halfheartedly took the Mark, seeing it as his only real option. Because they were at war, the DE's joining ceremonies were much less grand so, no one other than Voldemort and his father really knew about him joining.

Most people suspected that he was dead, another casualty of the war. The other DEs assumed the only Flint in their midst was his father.

The war is over, his father is dead and when Marcus heard that Hogwarts was reopening, he saw this as a chance for redemption. He wrote to McGonagall, confessing his sins and begging for a chance to come back to Hogwarts and be re-educated.

Since returning, he's got back into contact with various people he hadn't seen in years- Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Zach Smith and Tes Moon.

Appearance:
Height: 6'3.
Weight: 190lbs.
Eyes: Dark brown.
Hair: Very dark brown but lightens somewhat during the summer, short, rather wayward.
Face & Complexion: Italian-looking; dark features and skin that tans easily.
Build: Obviously muscular.
Defining Marks: As always, his teeth. Also, his faded Dark Mark and a large number of scars from the war, various fights and Quidditch; the largest of these extends from his shoulder blade down to the base of his back.
Dress Style: Lazy, muggle-esque. Wears long sleeves around everyone except Zach.
Possessions always on this person: Wand, a small pocket knife.
Manner of Speech: He has a gruff voice, almost a growl. Marcus tends to be short with people or at least sarcastic.
Manner of Movement: Marcus often seems half asleep, his manner of moving very lethargic and slow. He ambles rather than walking, using his face to gesticulate more than his body.

Marital Status: Currently in a serious relationship with Zacharias Smith.
Sexual Preference: Has always considered himself straight (having slept with only women apart from Oliver and Zach) but has had to reassess that since falling head over heels for Smith.
